Beach Read

Beach Read is the story of January Andrews, a romance author. Initially, January thinks her life is perfect, and she also believes in love. But then her dad dies, and she breaks up with her boyfriend. Then she begins feeling that love and happiness are illusory, making it difficult for her to write romance novels. Later, she moves to a house on the lake in North Bear Shores, Michigan, where she meets Augustus Everett, a famous author who writes serious literary fiction and is her former college friend. He lives right next door. Facing writer’s block for their next books, both make a deal to switch genres. They go out together to research and find inspiration to write their next books. Their story has a happy ending
